Glimpses of Activities of JYS

1. Formation of JYS on 24^th NOV 2002
2. Publication of the struggle report of Kherwara Mines labour movement which was blood shades by police bullets. The labour was demanding to implement the labour laws effectively. One young boy of 18 years-Laxman was shot dead on 15^th Sept.2002.
3. A booklet titled-No to fetters - was published for limited circulation. The booklet covered the case studies of victimization of women, Rape of teen age girls and witch craft.
4. Some quotations against Hindu fundamentalism and fanaticism of Dr.B.R.Ambedker was published and distributed to the educated youth and teachers of the area.
5. Adiwasi swabhimaan ka sawal(Question of Indigenous pride) was published and sold among the youths. It is translated as vision paper of JYS for web site
6. Brought out 20000 leaflets during state assembly elections for free and fare polls as well as to propagate 26 demands of the area.
7. The brother of ruling party BJP-Bhartiya janata party-MLA raped a school girl and police was not lodging any complain so JYS campaigned for the arrest of culprits. At last they were arrested and the rapists were in jail for six months. JYS brought put three (total 30000 )different pamphlets to expose the role of police and political nexus and highlighted the rights of women and appeal them to organize.
8. Demanded for the solution of the problems of tribal hostels, schools and college in the area.
9. Did a signature campaign for the solution of electricity supply
10. Took part in Mautana solutions in different cases and exposed the role of police,middle man and the corrupt politicians.
11. Supported to the para-teachers movement and demanded for quality education for the primary level students.
12. Organize a three days Padyatra and distributed 10000 pamphlet in different villages to oppose the design of government to send the water for the Industrialist of Kesariyaji town from Kagder dam which was made for the irrigation of tribal area.It was propagated at the time of construction as life line of the area.JYS organizes one day sit in programme of peasants of effected area opposite to the block level administrative office called Tehsil.
13. Fought against the land grabbers of common land called Mission compound.
14. JYS organizes road blockade on 24^th Nov. 2004 (the foundation day of JYS) for the demands of the area for the real pro-people development.Organised village level meetings and distributed 12000 pamphlets for it.
15. Brought out leaflet for the awareness during Panchayat level elections.
16. Organize a three day sit in programme for the follow up of previous demand charter.
17. Brought out leaflet against the nexus of police,lumpaigns,polititians and monied people.

19. Organize rally on every 15^th Sept in memory of the martyr Laxman meena during mine workers agitation.
