6TH Martyrs day of Laxman was celebrated on 15th september

6^TH Martyrs day of Laxman was celebrated by JYS in fighting spirit. Students,labour and the Umara ( a village on the boarder of Kherwara ) people also joined the programme. Laxman was martyred during Kesariyaji Mine labour movement in 2002.

The procession crossed from the streets of Kherwara town with traditional drum sound. Some of the youths were holding Lathies (Sticks),Flags,banners of JYS and traditional arrows and bow. The procession directly entered in Tehsildaar ( Block level revenue officer ) office and gheraoed him with fighting slogans. He called the his colleagues to fulfill the demands of people immediately. Meanwhile all the men and women seat out side the office and start singing folk and awareness songs.

JYS leaders inform to the officer that there is no meaning of petitions and the memorandums. They rememorize to the officer that JYS challenged the government at the time of last Juloos before 15days ( related to the demands of NREGA payments ).

JYS distributed leaflets in the area to spread the message of Martyrs. The leaflet described that Congress and BJP are same and they are supporting the exploitation in combined way. The path of the Martyrs is to consistent fight for our rights and demands.

The memorial meeting started at right time in front of Tehsildaar office. The leaders of different sections delivered there speech from local and immediate demands to the national and international problems. After the meeting the delegation of five people went to the Sub divisional officer and got the written promises to solve the problems of the people according to previous memorandums.
