Unorganise workers discussed to Establish the workers co operative

Workers discussed to Establish the workers co operative in their monthly meeting on 29th August 2008.Two different views emerged in the meeting.Some of the workers were in fervor of the cooperative to run some cooperative stores and some of them were against to this step.There logic was in fervor of only trade union activities.The pro cooperative workers argued that they are getting economic benefits through the trade union activities but the money is going back to the shop keepers and exploiters so if we can open one cooperative store for cheaper food items and necessary material may save (at least some) money.Some of participants argued about the registration and government interference.Some of them were suspicious about the money matters and its impact on the organisation. The matter is still under discussion but majority of workers were in fevour of cooperative.
